Urgent action on roads is also being demanded of the federal government. Gilmore MP Fiona Phillips has once again called for promised funds for the Princes Highway to be made available to fast-track upgrades.
One local road that has seen some action is the Northern Collector Road that will connect Illaroo and Moss Vale roads ahead of the Nowra Bridge construction. There will also be night roadworks on the Princes Highway between St Ann and Kalandar streets for the next few days.
And well known Nowra couple, Noel and Marie Jose Kennedy, who came to grief in their beloved old Ford Falcon, when it came unstuck on their return from the Variety Bash, expect to return home soon. We wish them the best with their recovery and urge all our readers to take extra care on the road.
