A Wattamolla man disqualified from driving until 2024, caught behind the wheel twice in less than 24 hours, and once almost five times the limit has escaped a jail sentence.

Instead, Nowra Magistrate Gabriel Fleming placed Paul Christopher Maher, 30, on a 12-month community-based intensive corrections order.
Maher pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while disqualified and high range drink driving.
The court heard Maher was caught driving twice by police in Berry on August 31 and September 1.
On the first occasion, he was driving a white Toyota Landcruiser in Queen Street around 11.15pm when he was stopped for a random breath test.
He returned a positive breath test and later a reading 0.234.
Police discovered he was a disqualified driver, having been banned from driving for five years from January this year until January 2024.
He was charged with high range drink driving and driving while disqualified and granted bail on the strict condition he not occupy the driver's seat of any vehicle.
But police nabbed him again the following day (September 1) around 5pm in the same Landcruiser, this time driving in Albert Street, Berry and he was again charged with driving while disqualified.
Magistrate Fleming also disqualified him from driving for another nine months and ordered he have an interlock device fitted to his vehicle for four years.
