The Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre was open to the public for the first time on Monday, October 14 to celebrate its opening.

Kids, adults, school groups and members of the public were invited to the free play day to participate in the range of sports the centre offers.
The centre can cater for basketball, indoor soccer, netball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball and can be adapted to any indoor sport.
The facility cost $16.4 million and is a four-court multi-purpose complex. Although it's being used from today, the official opening won't happen until November 15.

The complex has 204 car parks, six bus parking areas and can accommodate 940 people.
There's administration and office areas, a cafe with commercial kitchen, outdoor cafe area, plenty of storage and even a creche.
The complex is 5400 square metres, has a 4000 square metre roof which captures rainwater in a 120,000 litre tank. The rainwater is then treated and reused used within the complex.
