Nowcon is being held at the Nowra School of Arts on Saturday from 9am, a change from previous years where it has been held at the Wesley Centre.
The event will feature comic books, dress-up completions, drinks, food and games. You'll even be able to try out some VR and become a space pirate.
Expect to see attendees dressed up in their favourite TV, book, movie or video game character for the cosplay competition.
There will also be video game competition to find out who is the best Smash Bros player.
Cosplay has grown enormously in recent years with various competitions and 'cons' or conventions held around the globe.
Cosplay simply comes from the two words costume and play.
For comic book fans you'll be able to get your favourite mag signed.
In Wollongong, Comic Gong has been hugely successful. In March this year thousands of pop culture fans turn out for the seventh annual Comic Gong festival.
The event even saw Wollongong Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery getting involved and donning a Star Wars costume.
For dungeons and dragons aficionados there will be a special event that night.
Nowcon is a free event and art, comics, games and food will be available to buy.
Kids are welcome and it's an alcohol free event.
