The event will raise funds for the purchase of much-needed equipment at the Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital.
Last year $10,600 was raised at the event and the Auxiliary was able to purchase a bladder scanning machine for the hospital.
Bomaderry Bowling Club has raised more than $66,000 for charities through its involvement in the Melbourne Cup luncheon and will now be hosting it for the 10th year.
The event is shaping up to be a fun day out. Local businesses have donated around 40 raffle prizes and there will also be auction prizes and more on offer for lucky door, best tie, best hat and best outfit. There will also be more to be won for other activities throughout the day.
Tickets are $45 and includes a three course meal and a glass of champagne.
A number of groups have been supporting this event for many years and organisers hope even more will join them this year to enjoy the day, enjoyed delicious food, and good entertainment and company.
Tickets are available at the Bomaderry Bowling Club or by calling 4421 2733. For more information contact Jenny Hurst on 4421 4813 or Garry Wilbraham on 0417 212 344.
