Court papers said Dane Lloyd, of Sanctuary Point, was wanted in relation to domestic disturbance in Bomaderry on July 22.
After investigations, officers began making inquiries to locate the man.
About 8pm Friday, July 26, police saw a Mitsubishi Mirage driving in a dangerous manner on The Wool Road, Vincentia.
Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over but it failed to stop and a pursuit started that continued through St Georges Basin, Basin View, Bewong, Wandandian, before being terminated due to safety concerns at Jerrawangala.
Police later attended a Fishermans Paradise address around 10pm where they arrested Lloyd.
He was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with police pursuit under Skye's Law, driving while his licence was cancelled, common assault (DV), stalk/intimidate, destroying or damaging property (DV) and contravening apprehended violence order.
Police said during the domestic violence incident he damaged tyres on a car at the Bomaderry address.
It was alleged Lloyd also damaged a Holden Maloo utility at a Bomaderry address around 9.30am on February 1.
Court papers said he threw a coffee cup at the bonnet of the vehicle, picked up a rock and threw it into the side window, smashing the glass and damaging the vehicle before throwing the rock into the windscreen.
He also faced a charge of driving with an illegal drug in his system, while a reckless driving charge was withdrawn and dismissed.
In Nowra Local Court on Friday, September 20, Lloyd pleaded guilty to the charges with Magistrate Susan McGowan sentencing him to 18 months' jail with a non-parole period of five months.
She also fined him $450 and disqualified him from driving for three months.
