Vandals have targeted the Thompson Street Complex, Sussex Inlet Sports Field and Vincentia Sports Field, by removing copper wiring from floodlights and illuminators.
The vandalism has rendered the floodlights unsafe to use resulting in power outages at the fields.
Mayor Amanda Findley is urging residents to keep an eye out for vandalism in the community.
"Vandalism doesn't only affect those who use the sports fields, it affects the whole community," Clr Findley said.
"The removal of the copper wiring renders these fields unsafe for use after dark and, may result in clubhouses losing perishable items due to power outages.
"I encourage community members to keep an eye out for any further vandalism in the Shoalhaven and if they do see offenders, please call the police immediately.
"The Shoalhaven is a beautiful place to live and as a community we should strive to continue to keep the region pristine."
Council is working to have power restored and the illuminators and floodlights fixed.
