The Seagull had to withstand wave after wave of attack from Shoalhaven United to claim the premiership today at Ison Park South Nowra.
A well-struck Nicholas Gelle goal in the first half gave the Seagulls' its 1-nil victory and not many other sides would have been able to survive such a bombardment.
United played a brilliant game of football and could have easily been holding the trophy at full-time.
The Seagulls, however, were just too strong and defensively they were brilliant.
The ball bouncing off the bar and a boot getting to the footy when it looked like it was going into goals shows just how close United got.
Cain Mooy, Jim Niemeier, Luke Reid and Harry Sawkins were strong for the Seagulls, but each man played his role to perfection.
Sawkins had a bit of a point to prove after the was sent to the sin bin for 10 minutes for a foul and his experience in the second half was vital for Husky.
United's Billy Wallington, however, was close to being the player of the match.
Wallington was United's go-to man and he almost got his team a vital goal or two.
Mark Garratty, Dale Baxter and stalwart Shane Button all played well for the Bears.
