Huskisson-Vincentia and Bomaderry.
The two team's journeys to the Shoalhaven District Football Association grand final are vastly different, as is their experience in the big dance.
Saturday will present the Seagulls with a chance to end their 20-year first grade premiership drought - which for coach Rob Hawker believes has been in the pipelines since his arrival four year ago.
"In my first year here, we had first and third grade in the semi-finals," Hawker said.
"Since then, we've gradually improved across the board, seeing us become competition champions and make grand finals in all three grades - despite turning over more than 20 players in the off-season."
Any idea of finals jitters - with only Corey Ryan, David Hampton and Scott Fagerlund playing in premiership sides - was dispelled two weeks ago in a performance Hawker labelled as 'one of their best of the season'.
"Two weeks ago, we came in fresh, played our style and were disciplined, which saw the result (4-nil) take care of itself," he said.
"Now the week off as enabled us to freshen up again and focus on the task at hand - grand finals are hard to make and even hard to win.
"We intend to make the most of our opportunity on Saturday - if we play the style that has gotten us this far, I'm confident we can get the desired result."
Making the day even special for Hawker's club, is the fact they are also contesting both the second and third grade finals.
"It's an amazing achievement to have three grades firstly win their respective competition championships and then go straight into the grand finals," he said.
"If we are able to complete the job, in all three grades, it'll be absolutely brilliant and a real testament to all the work that's been put in the past four years.
'It's a chance for all the teams to etch their names in the history books - it's really exciting and all the boys can't wait to Saturday."
Contrastingly, Saturday's match from 3pm at Ison Park marks the Tigers' third straight decider.
"Making three straight grand finals is massive for the club," Bomaderry coach Kevin Jackson said.
"Nathan [Aldridge] has worked really hard over the last two years to get the club to where is was and it has paid off.
"That is one of the main reasons that drove me to coach this year - I couldn't let his hard work go to waste."
After losing the major semi-final to Huskisson 4-nil two weeks ago, the Tigers were forced to fight back from one-goal down against St Georges Basin (to win 2-1), to to make it to the season decider.
"It was a tough game - I have to give Basin credit for putting us on the back foot early," Jackson said.
"We knew it was going to come down to the end and who wanted it more and that ended up being us."
In the pair's meetings during the regular season, they had a 4-all draw on May 11 before the Seagulls won 2-nil on July 20.
"Huskisson is a quality team and that shows with the domination of the regular season," Jackson, who's in his first year in charge of the Tigers, said.
"We have seen how they play and know their strengths.
"If we shut down their danger men and control the midfield, I know we will able to control the game."
Another driving force for the Tigers - with seven players Jordan Haddow, Brendan Kellett, Daniel Frew, Dale Russell, Brad Bailey, Cameron Nelson and Jyle Smith returning from last season - is trying to avenge last year's loss to Gerringong (2-nil), which was the team's only SDFA loss in 2018.
"It's not so much about vengeance but about not feeling the disappointment that we felt last year," Jackson said.
"The guys are obviously going to be giving 110 per cent but the thought of last year could be where it pushes us further and get the win.
"If we did get the win, it would be amazing - something I wouldn't have expected if someone asked me at the start of the year."
This first grade fixture (at 3pm) will culminate an exciting day at Ison Park, following the third grade final between Huskisson and Manyana at 11am and second grade decider between Huskisson and Shoalhaven United at 1pm.
