Shoalhaven City Councillor Nina Digiglio and local resident Bill Hancock have called the meeting.
On the agenda is the Nowra CBD's Master Plan, which includes a planned ring road, turning sections of North, Osborne and Douglass streets into four-lane clearways.
Other items on the agenda include the retention of period housing, Shoalhaven Community Pre-School and public reserves, helicopter flight paths and Shoalhaven Hospital development eroding the river escarpment, Ben's Walk and Aboriginal history.
Mr Hancock said the meeting is open to anyone.
"There are some big issues that are being raised and residents need to be aware," he said.

"They need to be aware of proposals of how the development of their neighbourhood will proceed.
"It's a chance to learn more and have a say."
Mr Hancock said he believes the Nowra CBD Master Plan is flawed and raises a number of concerning issues, including a plan for the proposed ring road, which he says would only further divide the Nowra CBD, cutting it off from other areas even more.
"Even the minutes of council's Strategy and Assets Committee on June 11, 2019, outlines the plan," he said.
"The minutes read... 'In the future, North Street will be converted to a 4-lane road, with additional signalised intersections at Graham Street, O'Keeffe Ave and the Princes Highway. The future road upgrades will ultimately require the removal of all on street parking along North Street from the Highway to Bridge Road, at each successive upgrade (like the current proposed traffic signals project at North Street/Kinghorne Street'.
"There are a lot of issues arising that will concern our town and people need to be aware."
The meeting will be held at the Nowra Library meeting room starting at 2.30pm.
