Dignitaries included past Rotary International Director Noel Trevaskis and current Rotary District 9710 Governor Peter Ford.
Peter had a special task on the night when he inducted two new members, Laurelle and Ray Price to the Berry Club.
Another highlight of the evening was the launch of a booklet prepared especially for the occasion, titled "60 Years of Memories and Service" compiled from the recollections of service projects by the club's current longest serving member Col Hanbridge, who joined the club back in 1975.
The Rotary Club of Berry has also just staged its eighth annual Berry Small Farm Field Days the weekend before the Anniversary Dinner with funds raised to go to local and international community projects, disaster relief efforts, along with its current major local project being the Rotary Nature Play Park at Boongaree in Berry.
The club meets every Thursday, alternately for a breakfast meeting one week, followed by a dinner meeting the following week and welcomes anyone interested in joining them in performing Rotary's motto of 'Service Above Self'.
