THE Shellharbour Sharks have secured the 2019 women's league tag division two title, as they outperformed a tough and trying Jamberoo side by 22-nil at Collegians Sporting Complex on Sunday.

The minor premiers, who finished the season with record of 19 wins and one draw from 20 matches, won the territory battle of the first half, as they forced multiple errors in the Superoos half.
Tamieka Jarrett claimed the first try of the match after 10 minutes after she bolted 30 metres to score next to the uprights.
Keiana Rodwell landed the conversion as the minor premiers gained a 6-nil lead.
The Superoos looked to get back into clash through a lethal kicking game from Lucy Alliston which caused a few headaches for the Sharks back three.
Shellharbour withstood the pressure and extended their lead to 10-nil at the break, through a hard running Lauren Schuster from close range.
Jamberoo were able to bring the Sharks attacking prowess to halt and applied much-needed pressure on the Sharks defence.
With 10 minutes left in the contest, the Sharks produced the try of the match as Kieana Rodwell placed a midfield bomb for lighting quick Caroline Harcher, who ran 40 metres to score under the black dot.
Before Tamieka Jarrett conjured up individual brilliance of the following kick off and bagged a grand final double.
Rodwell landed a conversion and a penalty goal as Shellharbour secured victory by 22-nil.
Player of the match Tamieka Jarrett, Leea Harvey, Kieana Rodwell and Brittany Sharky were outstanding for Shellharbour while Lucy Alliston, Jen Morrisey and Moeone Engi were terrific for Jamberoo.
