A Culburra Beach man who pleaded guilty to possessing a replica pistol, ammunition and prohibited drugs has been placed on a community corrections order for 12 months.

Clayton Armstrong, 46, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing an unauthorised pistol, four counts of possessing a prohibited weapon without a permit, two counts of possessing ammunition without a licence and two counts of possessing a prohibited drug.
Court papers said Armstrong was arrested at Culburra Beach on September 27 last year in possession of a number of items including a black replica pistol and a quantity of ammunition.
He was also allegedly discovered with two separate quantities of methylamphetamine, or ice, weighing one gram and .5 of a gram, along with two grams of cannabis leaf.
He also pleaded guilty to additional charges of two counts of driving while suspended and not disclosing identity of driver or passenger.
In Nowra Local Court Magistrate Robert Walker placed Armstrong on a 12-month community corrections order, fined him $2200 and disqualified him from driving for six months.
