The Bureau reported around 10 o'clock this morning that damaging winds from 55-65 kilometers per hour are expected to hit the South coast. Peak gusts will speed up to 90 kilometers per hour, and areas on the coast are most at risk.
This weather is forecast to last from this evening until Tuesday afternoon, and is expected to affect Wollongong, Huskisson and Ulladulla.
This warning comes after the destructive 76 kilometer per hour winds on Friday, which caused a large gum tree to fall on Nowra Rugby Club's grandstand.
Nowra SES unit commander, Mark Kielly, said people travelling should be mindful of danger areas.
"Branches and leaves are going to come down," He said, "So be cautious while driving, of the strong winds."
The Bureau of Meteorology have also issued a hazardous surf warning for the South Coast, and have said swell conditions will be hazardous for coastal activities.
