All is not lost for Bomaderry and next week the Tigers play the winner of tomorrow's (Sunday's ) elimination semi-final between Shoalhaven United and St Georges Basin for the chance to take on Husky in the grand final on Saturday September 21.
The Seagulls today (Saturday) were all class and the Tigers did try hard but their opponents just had one of those near-perfect matches.
The Seagulls were consistently strong and kicked a brace of goals in either half.

Meanwhile, If ever there was a case for a match to go extra-time it was in today's (Saturday's) reserve grade major semi-final between Huskisson/Vincentia and Shoalhaven United .
The Seagulls got into the grand final after beating the Bears 2-1 but the match was decided by an own-goal in the second term.
The score was locked at 1-all at the break and it would have been fitting if this was also to be the fulltime score, but the football gods had other ideas.

Shoalhaven United, next weekend, now plays the winner of tomorrow's (Sunday's) St Georges Basin and Sussex Seahawks match to set up a grand final clash with the Seagulls.
In third grade, Huskisson/Vincentia and Manyana produced a semi-final thriller in today's (Saturday's) major semi-final.
The score was locked nil-all at fulltime and the two combatants caught their breath and headed out for extra time.
A goal at the 94-minute mark to Shaun Ward got the Seagulls over the line and into the grand final.
Manyana, next Saturday, will now play the winner of tomorrow's (Sunday's) Culburra and Shoalhaven United match for the right to play Seagulls in the third grand final.
