IN two highly contested AFL South Coast junior Shoalhaven grand finals, the Ulladulla Dockers and Batemans Bay Seahawks rose to the top and took home their respective flags.

In the under 11s final, the Dockers fell behind early against the Seahawks, to trail 2.1-13 to 0.1-1 at the first break.
The hosts at the Ulladulla Sports Park closed to margin to 10 points by half-time, before producing a match-winning effort in the third.
Ulladulla kicked three goals to two behinds for the Seahawks, to claim their first lead of the match (4.3-27 to 3.3-21) at three-quarter-time.
Both teams kicked tow goals each in the fourth, as the Dockers held on for a memorable five-point victory (6.3-39 to 5.4-34).
In the victory, Dockers' Lachlan Barry was named Best of Ground.
While in the under 13s decider, the Seahawks proved too strong for the Bomaderry Tigers.
Batemans Bay jumped out of the gate and ed 3.3-21 to 0.0-0 after one quarter.
The Tigers then started their fightback, closing the margin to 18 points at half-time, before coming to within 17 by three-quarter-time.
Despite their constant pressure, the black and golds could only manage two behinds in the final quarter, while keeping the Seahawks scoreless - seeing Batemans Bay hold on to win 6.7-43 to 4.4-28.
In the 15-point win, Seahawks' Thomas Lassau was named Best on Ground.
