Academy athlete coach and program manager Dane Robinson said a scholarship will help young athletes take their results to the next level.
"We're looking for any athletes we have a program for, or for our Lone Star program, where we don't have a specific program," Robinson said.
"We want athletes that want to take the next step in their athletic development, that meet the criteria and want to take the next step in their development of their chosen sport."
The Academy has achieved significant success throughout the past 12 months, with many scholarship holders winning state and national medals.
Robsinson said, however, that the program is not purely focused on on-field performance.
"We try and offer that additional development that clubs can't offer. We provide expertise in skill-based development sessions, as well as education around sports psychology, nutrition, drugs in sport and leadership.
"There's a wealth of areas that improve their athletic and general development.
"That all-round development is a major focus for us. We don't just want good athletes, we want good people. We try and put as much in place to help in the development of well-rounded good people."
Applications will remain open until mid-September, with deadlines varying for each sport.
