Can a bad decision be anymore obvious?
Photos of a skater boy's "reckless and stupid behaviour" prove otherwise.
On August 25 at about 12:30pm a skateboarder was seen hurtling down Barrengarry Mountain from Fitzroy Falls to Kangaroo Valley.
Southern Highlands resident Leanne Haddadi witnessed the skateboarder while on a Sunday drive down the mountain and uploaded photos to Facebook.
Ms Haddadi said she only saw the skater towards the end of his journey.
"He was standing up with his arms out like he was on the Titanic," she said.
"He was going so fast.
"I would've hated to have been coming the other way."
Southern Highlands Police Inspector John Klepczarek condemned the skateboarder's actions.
"This type of behaviour is reckless and stupid," he said.
"The speeds the board riders achieve don't leave the capacity to stop or change direction.
"If the [skateboarders] hit a branch or something they will sustain significant injury."

A spokesperson from Shoalhaven Police said this sort of behaviour happened "regularly".
This incident may prove the idiom that you can't put an old head on young shoulders.
Police have strongly advised anyone thinking of skateboarding down the mountain to reconsider.
Ms Haddadi said the skater looked very young, about 16 years old.
She said there was not much room around the bends.
"[Attempts to overtake the skater] could cause a serious problem."

Ms Haddadi said her son, now 28 years old, used to be a skateboarder.
"I would've killed him if he'd done anything like that," she said.
