It is the fourth year in a row the South Coast and Tablelands Holstein Sub-Branch has hosted the event at the Nowra Showground.
Close to 100 head are entered for the event with judging getting underway at the cattle judging area on Saturday (August 24) at 9am.
Sub-branch president Paul Condon said it is great to see some quality entries after what has been, at times, and extremely challenging time in the dairy industry.
"The past 12 months certainly hasn't been an easy time to be part of the dairy industry, but it is great to see exhibitors presenting their cattle at the show," he said.
"It is a big effort to prepare and shows cows as well as the day to day running of a farm."
