Faced with the unlikely task of winning by 107 points to oust Shellharbour Sharks from top spot on points differential, but the task wasn't really a possibility, despite the visitors posting 16 tries in their win.

After their best effort of the season last week against Warilla-Lake South Gorillas, the Stingrays were keen to finish the season with a big effort but found the Superoos in a hungry mood.

It only took the visitors three minutes to get on the board when Corey Grigg send fullback Dylan Capaan over under the posts and the Asquith brothers Luke and Mark made it two tries in the first 10 minutes when they combined.

Returning winger Dean Watling showed great pace to bag a double in the 13th and 24th minutes.

Before half-time Kyle Stone had added a double, James Asquith had gotten off the dreaded 'nudie' and brother Mark had his double as the score moved on to 46-nil.

The second half was only two minutes old when Stone notched his hat-trick and Watling did likewise two minutes later as the Superoos were seemingly scoring at will.

Jono Dallas, Corey Grigg, Ben Barnard and Brock Skelly added their names to the scoresheet and James Asquith his double, however without doubt the highlight came in the 69th minute when Stone gathered a Stingrays grubber-kick five metres from his own line and raced 95 metres to score under the posts for his fourth of the day.

Playing his first game in almost two months after breaking his hand at work, Watling enjoyed a big day out with three tries and 11 goals, while Luke Asquith and Kyle Stone proved unstoppable against a Stingrays side who, despite being outclassed, never stopped trying.

Jamberoo will now host Gerringong in the qualifying final at Kevin Walsh Oval on Saturday.
