Third grade men had a great game with Lawrence Kinnear scoring early in the first half and the team defending well to maintain their advantage. The win sees the team move to equal 3rd on the ladder with Culburra and United. The boys will take on United next week in a must-win match.

The reserve grade game was always going to be an intense one give Sussex and Basin currently sit in first and second positions respectively. There were multiple attacks on goal from Brian Booth, Al Shakir, Jordan Reid and Zac Stahlhut but unfortunately they failed to get one past the Sussex defence. Basin defended equally well with Dave Coventry in goals saving several strong attacks. In the end, the 0-0 scoreline was reflective of the intense effort put in by both sides.

First grade men put on a great show for the home crowd. The game started off much the same as the reserve grade game with a high intensity level and good defence from both sides. Sussex drew first blood after 32 minutes, but it was the only one they were to get through. McGinn hit back a few minutes later to equalise the score line before half time.

Coming out in the second half, Basin were out for the win. Seven minutes into the second half, Tim White scored, lifting the team's spirits and that of the home crowd. McGinn then made an excellent run through the midfield and out to the left wing where he struck a beautiful ball across goals where Fraser MacQueen finished it off.

In the final five minutes of the game, McGinn went on to score another 2 goals, earning himself a hat-trick and the team a 5-1 win. The team move into 4th position on the ladder and are 2 points behind Illaroo and 3 points behind Bomaderry.

Round 20 opened with Reserve Grade Ladies White up against Callala, suffering a 3-0 loss. First Grade were out to continue their fight for the finals and were able to hold Callala out for a 0-0 draw. Reserve Grade Red had the bye and remain on top of the ladder.

Under 15 boys had a 3-0 loss against United despite a valiant effort. Under 17s also went down against United with a 4-0 loss.

Over 35s men secured themselves the competition championship with their 2-0 victory over Milton on Thursday night. Goal scorers were Peter Roth and Danny Shaw.

Saturday Juniors saw mixed results. Under 13 girls had a 4-1 loss to Culburra with Saphira Webber scoring the team's goal. The girls are still in contention for finals but will need to lift to maintain their fourth position. Under 13s B had a 6-0 loss to United whilst Under 13 Boys A Red had a 10-1 loss to Shoalhaven Heads, Callum Rowley scoring for the team. Under 13 Boys A White team had a 10-0 win over Huskisson White. The team has three games left and a bye and maintain the top position on the ladder by a point.
