The Code C Bay and Basin Committee has been busy this year, brainstorming and coming up with ideas to assist cancer patients in the Bay and Basin area.
They've donated much-needed money for the Cancer Patient Transport Bus, along with more than $2500 worth of linen and kitchen appliances to Jarrod Flynn at the accommodation building at the oncology department.
This allowed Jarrod to refurbish five rooms with linen, blankets and coverlets. The old kitchen sauceans and frying pans were also replaced with new Tefal products.
The committee also held two booked out trivia nights at the Huskisson Hotel, raising awareness of the Code C Bay and Basin mission and commitment. Fun was had by all, with raffles and games throughout the evening.
The committee also has a pigeon hole located at the Country Club to drop letters of ideas off. All are welcomed.
