Over the last month, 'Super T' bridge girders for two of the project's bridge sites, at Devitts Lane and Flying Fox Creek have been delivered.
The bridge girders have begun to be laid on the bridge project sites.
Asphalt will soon be laid along a 1.5 kilometre section of new southbound road between Strongs Road and Wileys Creek and once complete, traffic will be moved onto this new section of road to allow for work to start on the north bound lanes.
Kiama MP Gareth Ward said the work marks a major step forward on the Berry to Bomaderry upgrade.
