Red cross members from across the Shoalhaven came together on Tuesday, July 30 at the Bomaderry Bowling Club for their annual conference.

Embracing this years theme "we grow togeather", everybody who attended received some flower and fruit seeds they could plant at home.
There was also a large selection of local fruit and vegetables up for sale.
The branches at the conference included Berry, Milton-Ulladulla, Nowra, Shoalhaven Heads, Sussex Inlet and Vincentia. All belonging to country zone seven.

Publicity Officer at the Red Cross Vincentia Branch Donna Raaschou was looking forward to the event.
"I am one of the unique red cross singers and we'll be entertaining as well, singing some songs," she said.
"Everyone is fundraising for the International Red Cross, that's the whole purpose of being in this.
"It aims to help anyone who is in disaster, distress, anything that is going on that needs assistance from the Red Cross.
"We do all sorts of things, ranging from the humble raffle to gigs."
The conference also featured three guest speakers: Sarah Lindsay, Grace Barron and Robert French.
