Despite playing at Rugby Park, the Shoals went down to the rampaging Bulls 31-22 - with Mark Brandon (three) and Tom Sims scoring the tries, with the former landing one conversions.
Elsewhere in first grade, competition front-runners Avondale thrashed Samden 48-12, Bowral made light work of Shamrocks 29-5, Vikings blitzed Tech Waratahs 57-14 and Kiama held on to defeat Campbelltown Harlequins 36-27.

Shoals' second grade side didn't fair any better against the University of Wollongong, going down 31-17 in their clash.
In third grade, the Vincentia Van Goghs continued their strong campaign by downing the Bulls 37-15 - bringing up their 10th win of the season.
Looking ahead, both Shoals teams and the Van Goghs travel north next round to face Vikings at Vikings Rugby Club on Saturday, with third grade kicking-off off the day at 12.15pm.
