IT was a tough day at the office for the Bomaderry Tigers on Saturday, as they made the trip to North Dalton Park to face the Wollongong Lions.

Both the Tigers premier men's and women's side suffered defeats in windy conditions, going down 17.8-110 to 4.1-25 and 3.3-21 to 0.2-2 respectively.
The men were best served by Adrian Toms, Tom Hines, Courtney Ward, Connor Clarke , Siwa Harvey-Aziz and Charlie Rodden, while Sophie Phillips, Bridget Kellett, Kate Bramley, Lily Macdonald, Jess Liddiard and Josie Cousins did what they could for the women.
The only reprieve for the Tigers was their division one men's side, who held on to defeat the Lions 2.1-13 to 1.5-11, thanks to Nathan Thomas, Matt Bryce, Nick McDonald, Mat Farrow, Jack Carter and Charlie Bramley.
Elsewhere in the division one men's competition, Nowra/Albatross recorded a solid 4.6-30 to 1.10-16 win against Figtree at West Street Oval, on the back of goals from Brad Barnes (two), Andrew Allmark and Luke Stevenson.
The Vikings women's side couldn't replicate the performance of their men, being defeated by Bay and Basin 2.7-19 to 2.0-12, despite goals from Rebekah Doyle and Maddison Pearson.
In the win, the Bombers' goals were kicked by Meg Flemons and Georgii Mckenzie.
Another Shoalhaven team to join the winner's circle in that division was Ulladulla, who smashed Wollongong Bulldogs 5.6-36 to 0.0-0.
Finally, Ulladulla's division two men's side easily accounted for Shellharbour 7.10-52 to 0.5-5.
