IT was nail biting moments all round for the Culburra Cougars' players, fans and coaching staff on Saturday at Manyana Oval.
The Cougars looked to have this Shoalhaven Football Association match in the bag but the Manyana Wanderers stormed home in a stunning effort.
The Wanderers were leading 5-4 and heading into injury time the Cougars needed something special.
A goal to Jarred Holbrow at the 91 minute mark levelled the score and then Mitchell Blundell broke the Wanderers' hearts.
Blundall kicked the match winner at the 93 minute mark and secured this team a famous 6-5 victory.
It does look as though the Cougars only had themselves to blame as they held a 4-2 lead at the break and should have went on with the job.
However, credit must go to the Wanderers for playing so strongly and producing a great never say die attitude.
Rhys Mooy had a great attacking game for the Cougars and booted three goals, while Hugh Harrison also found the back of the net.
Manyana's goals came from Rohan Daley (two), Jack Fay (two) and Billy Zappas.
Meanwhile, Huskisson Vincenta remains team to beat after recording another crushing victory on Saturday.
The victim this time was Illaroo and the Seagulls cruised to a 7-1 at the Huskisson Sporting Complex.
The home side did all the damage in the first half and at the break held a commanding 6-1 lead.
Either Illaroo played a whole lot better in the second or the home-side clocked off a tad early - maybe it was a bit of both.
Gary Masterson led the way in the goal kicking department for the Seagulls and he found the back of the net three times.
Jayden Lee also produced a strong attacking game with two goals, while Corey Ryan and Braidon Campbell got one each.
Lachlan Hucman was the Roo's only goal-kicker.
Milton Ulladulla had to withstand the efforts of a determined Callala at Lighthouse Oval before winning 3-nil.
Things started pretty good for the Panthers when Dane Garnon kicked a goal after 13 minutes but this was to be the last score for a long period of play.
The Brumbies were desperate to get back into the game and both teams settled in for a nice gritty contest.
The home-side sealed victory when Zane Wilson kicked a goal at the 63rd minute mark which was followed up by a goal from Jarrod Murray at the 72 minute mark.
Shoalhaven United's run of impressive attacking performances continued on Saturday and this time the Sussex Seahawks, at the Thompson Street Sporting Complex, suffered.
United won 5-2 to follow on from its 10-nil win the week before against Callala.
The Bears held a 3-2 lead at the break and would have been happy not to concede any goals in the second term.
An Alex Rogan treble gave United its winning edge, while Kaine Good and Shaun Aldous also found the back of the net.
Ben Daley and Kyle Jarrett kicked goals for the Seahawks.
A strong finishing Bomaderry defeated Shoalhaven Heads Berry 4-nil in what would have been a pleasing effort for its fans.
The Sharks were competitive in the first half and Tyler Buchan's goal at the four minute was the only score in the first half.
Another Buchan goal, along with scores to Jordan Haddow and Parker Solley sealed victory for the Tigers..
The ladder after last week's round of matches has: Husky leading the way with 37 points followed by Bomaderry 31, Culburra 28, Illaroo 26, St Georges Basin 25, United 24, Milton/Ulladulla 18, Sussex 18, Manyana 17, Callala 12 and Shoalhaven Heads Berry 7.
