South Coast Police District are investigating after a man was stabbed and struck multiple times with metal bars at Woollamia on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said a 29-year-old man was allegedly called to quote for a gardening job at a property on Fairfax Road, Woollamia around 12.45pm (July 4).
As the man attended the property, which he believed to be vacant, he was allegedly attacked by three masked men armed with metal pipes and bars.
The man was struck in the head and on the body and sustained stab wounds to his right thigh and lacerations to his head.
After a short time, the three masked men left the premises and the injured man contacted emergency services, who met him at his home.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Shoalhaven District Hospital for treatment.
The man's injuries are not life threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery.
Police established a crime scene at the property where the incident occurred.
The owners of the property have confirmed to police they had not organised or requested maintenance of their property.
Police inquiries into the incident are continuing.
