THE Shoalhaven will once again become the hub for some of the top Australian Football prospects this weekend, as it hosts the annual junior representative carnival.

Hosted by the AFL NSW/ACT, the carnival will involve teams from Shoalhaven, Illawarra, Sapphire Coast, Central West and Northern Riverina, with games to be played at Artie Smith Oval, West Street Oval, Tom Smith Oval and the Nowra Showground from Friday to Sunday.
More than 600 players, from 28 different clubs will compete across the weekend, which involves the round robin representative competition, a super nines and sensational 11s carnival at Tom Smith Oval (Saturday) and a senior women's representative game between Sapphire Coast and Central West (Sunday 1.30pm at the Nowra Showground).
The Shoalhaven youth girls squad, which plays at 8pm Friday (Artie Smith), 10am Saturday (West St) and 12pm Saturday (Showground), contains Mel Staunton, Mia Clough, Riley Sutherland, Nayana Patmore, Taylah Clarke, Aysha Sanchez, Keira McGill, Victoria Summerill, Lily Robinson, Jasmine Hair, Grace Hughes, Ruby Sewell, Sophie Firth, Paris Jack, Kristelle Westbrook, Chantelle Westbrook, Ivy Halliwell, Maya Willows, Paris Voudouris and Claudia Hannan.
Shoalhaven under 17s boys team play at 6pm Friday (Showground), 10am Saturday (Artie Smith) and 2.30pm Saturday (Artie Smith) and features Ryan Kelly, Christian Filmer, Caleb Gleeson, Nathan Simmons, Nathan Snelling, Rex Lee, Austin Reid, Jack Surace, Rhys Cooley, Jack Batson, Gaige Saunders, Taidgh Larkin, Jack Hirst, Taj Treweek, Jackson Winter, James Phillips, Ali Kaadan, Cayden Argent, Byron VanDyk, Ethan Gration, Caleb Kersting and Joseph Morrison.
While the Shoalhaven under 15s team will take to the field at 6pm Friday (West St), 10am Saturday (Showground) and 1.30pm Saturday (Artie Smith), with Evan Larkins, Ollie Halls, Lachlan Almond, Sam Maher, Hayden Batson, Keanu King, Xander Jackson, Baxter Scully, Fergus Priest, Hugh McDonell, Noah Reid, Hayden Muffet, Sam Phillips, Lachlan Malcolm, Charlie Dunn, Brayden Atkins, Kye Westbrook, Cayden Lewis, Walid Kaadan, Codie Angilley, Jack Stewart, Caleb March and Jasper Arnold being selected in the squad.
Finally, the under 13s Shoalhaven side will play at 6pm Friday (Artie Smith), 9am Saturday (Showground) and 11.30am Saturday (Artie Smith) and includes Ben Clough , Harry Neil , Dylan Johnstone , Oliver Driscoll, Beau Mckenzie, Izac Maher, Riley Clerget , Tully Ware , Thomas Lassua , Connor West, Austin Edwards , Jackson Ingram, Dustin Cook, Fox Scanlon, Jed Snelling, Oscar Tunney-Roberts, Mikey Salafia, Cade Missingham, Jack West, Taj Malmborg, Jacob Jones and Jed Ware.
Finals for all four respective competitions will be played on Sunday, with presentations to follow.
The weekend will also see a number of 'next gen' umpires officiating the weekend, including Thomas Joy, Jerremy Austin, Sarah Johnson, Liam Grant, Nic Burton and Ben Treanor.
The super nines will contain teams from the Bomaderry Tigers, Bay and Basin Bombers, Shoalhaven Giants and Broulee/Moruya Giants.
While the sensational 11s feature club teams from the Shoalhaven Giants, Bay and Basin Bombers, Bomaderry Tigers, Kiama Power, Figtree Kangaroos, Shellharbour Swans and Bega Bambers.
