The Shoalhaven Ex serviceman's River Festival committee is busily planning the seventh annual event, to be held on Saturday, October 26.
The 2019 festival will showcase the depth and breadth of what the Shoalhaven has to offer including local musicians, food stalls, markets, amazing water events, circus, dancing and creative fun in the ArtZone and the spectacular fireworks display finale.
Chair of the River Festival Committee Paul Greene said showcasing our local region and talent will be high on the agenda.
"We're a dedicated committee of volunteers who just love Nowra and the Shoalhaven and we're proud of what we have here," Paul said.
"We want to share it with locals and visitors alike."
Mr Greene said there will be a strong focus on arts and music this year.
"We're very excited to have local favourite of the Australian festival scene, 19-Twenty headlining the lineup of local bands," he said.
'They're an incredible homegrown talent and we'll also be giving newer, up and coming bands the chance to play on a proper stage with lighting and fantastic sound so even if they don't have enough to play for 45 minutes yet, this gives them a chance to get some great exposure."
More bands to perform on the new stage at the Paringa Park area will soon be announced.
Foodies will love the inaugural Long Table Lunch set to roll out this year at Greys Beach. The cocktail event in the evening will see delicious food served up by South Coast Catering Collective. Guests will enjoy the prime position to the fireworks, with a funky bar area, fine dining and classy atmosphere.
On the water you can expect to see some beautiful performances with the river providing the perfect stage for the 'Spirit of the River' event celebrating our Indigenous communities' connection to the river.
The popular Light Tinnies will be back on the water in 2019 with Spirit of the River themes.
In 2018, it is estimated 20,000 people attended the River Festival and organisers are hoping for even more this year.
Anyone that would like to attend and get involved is welcome to get in touch with the committee via Facebook, Instagram or the new River Festival webpage.
