Three goals in the opening 10 minutes of the game went to Shirley Pender, Robyn Glasson and Ashley Tomkins whilst the second half saw Jess Madden score and Shirley Pender add a second goal for the night.
With Milton being moved up into first grade, this now leaves the Reserve Reds in top position on the ladder.
At home, Reserve Grade White went down 4-1 with Amber Grainger scoring the only goal for the side.
First Grade had arguably their best game of the season with beautiful passing and intensity on the ball.
The girls got a win against United with Jess Little scoring two goals and Ebony Smith scoring the third.
Under 15 Boys A had their closest game yet since being pushed up into A grade with a 3-2 loss to United Grizzlies with Rory Meyer scoring their two goals.
Under 17 boys continued to show their growth with 2-0 loss to Illaroo, holding them out to 0-0 for the first 30 minutes of the game.
Over 35s game was forfeited by United on Thursday night. The boys remain top of the ladder.
Saturday Juniors saw Under 13 Boys B have a great game against Shoalhaven Heads-Berry with Henry Small scoring a hat-trick and Jim Dicker scoring a fourth goal for the team.
In a tight match, the boys walked away with a 4-4 draw.
Under 13s A Red had a 9-1 loss against United with Kayden Sullivan scoring the team's goal.
Under 13s A White had a 5-2 win over Huskisson with goals to Jack Ross, Jack Baker, Kinglsey Smith and Ben Hale.
Under 13 girls had the bye.
Saturday seniors took on Illaroo at home.
Third Grade saw Danny Shaw score the first goal of the game.
It wasn't until the last 10 minutes of the game that Illaroo scored an equaliser which was quickly answered with a goal from Isaac Grainger in the final minutes leaving the Basin with a 2-1 victory.
Reserve Grade's game was abandoned due to an unfortunate injury to Illaroo striker, Steven Robinson, who suffered a fractured leg. Basin wishes Steven a speedy recovery.
First Grade went down to Illaroo 1-0 after Illaroo scored halfway through the first half and Basin, despite multiple promising attacks, were unable to equalise.
The club would also like to welcome Pete, our new club strapper who has volunteered his time to help out the senior men's teams on Saturdays and found himself quite busy!
The club is excited to be attracting so many talented and dedicated community members which is contributing to the already positive vibe. This is helping with the long-term vision for the club beyond any one season.
