AFTER 279 days away from rugby league, Culburra Dolphins product Adam Quinlan has guided his Hull Kingston Rovers to a crucial Betfred Super League win against the Warrington Wolves 16-14 at KCOM Craven Park.

A Ryan Shaw penalty goal on eight minutes for Hull KR was cancelled out by Bryson Goodwin's try on 24 minutes, with Declan Patton converting.
Warrington added another two via Patton in the 33rd minute but Shaw had the final say of the half, striking another penalty goal from bang in front for 8-4, as the Wolves led by four at the break.
Mose Masoe put Rovers ahead for the first time in the 54th minute, but Josh Charnley cancelled out that score when putting Warrington 14-10 in front four minutes later.
But the game-breaker for a patient Rovers side came in the 76th minute when Quinlan was sent in on his return to the side, Shaw brilliantly converting from the touchline, and the Robins held on for a memorable first win under Tony Smith.
Next up for Quinlan and his Rovers, who sit in 11th, are the London Broncos on Thursday at Trailfinders Sports Club.
