John Edmund Kuech, 33, who listed his address as the Homeless Hub in Nowra, hasn't entered a plea to the charge of robbery armed with an offensive weapon.
Court papers said between 5.05am and 5.25am in Nowra on February 9 Kuech robbed another man of his wallet, containing cash, bank cards, a NSW driver's licence and other personal cards while armed with a screwdriver.
In Nowra Local Court on Friday, June 7, Kuech did not apply for bail which was formally refused by Nowra registrar Nicole Brooks.
He will be back in court on July 19.
