The dazzling melodies and blissful harmonies of Sydney duo The Clouds will kick off Bundanon Trust's winter concert series on Sunday, June 30. Jodi Phillis and Trish Young are The Clouds, off-kilter genre-defying pop luminaries from the 90s.
Jodi and Trish have been known to experiment with unusual time signatures and quirky key changes. The duo sing about pollution, fossils, and dark and twisted surrealist fantasies, as well as flying mermaids, bookshops, and sparkling gemstones.
The second concert in the winter series will feature an intimate parlay with one of Australia's great composers Elena Kats-Chernin and ARIA award-winning pianist Tamara-Anna Cislowska. The event on Sunday, July 28 will be a unique chance to witness two of Australia's foremost musicians re-create Kats-Chernin's works live.
