Players Corey Lee, Clark Chancellor, Aaron Loudon and Harri Hibbs, as well as Jason Harrington (coach), Matt Lane (assistant coach) and Dixie Lee (manager) steered the navy side, who trained in the Shoalhaven in the lead-up to the tournament, first defeated the Royal Australian Airforce side 65-5, before edging out the army team 30-20 in the final.
Joining the Shoalhaven contingent in the navy side were Zeb Learyod, Sam Williamson, Josh Friend, Jerome Dillon-Baker, Jonte Heirdsfield, Jan Chennour, Shayne O'Reilly, Daniel Harris, Keryn Welch, Tom Bailey, Tom Hiramatsu, Scott Hogan, Eddy Tomsana, Dom Morris, Jacob Morel, Connor Hoban, Lachlan Taylor, BT Turuva, George Cantarakis, Isaiah Harris, Eugene Connolly, Peter Taylor, Mitch Walton and Terry Waia - with Julius Tadulala, Phil Lawrence, Jim Lawless and Lisa Wolski on the staff.
