The festival, run by the Jervis Bay and Basin Arts Incorporated, goes from Saturday 1 to Monday, June 10.
The event will showcase the wealth of creative talent in the Shoalhaven - from visual artists, performers, musicians, poets and writers, makers, cooks - and invites creators and culture makers from elsewhere to participate in our vibrant winter event.
Vincentia High School students will be involved in four art exhibitions this year and they are looking forward to taking part in the event.
The students were busy last week collecting items for the 'On The Fence' exhibition.
'On the Fence' is an environmental sculpture installation created by the students who are exploring living things in our spaces.
The works can be viewed by members of the public from the pathway in front of the school during SeeChange.
The 'Our Place' exhibition is a collection of works from Vincentia High's visual arts students, exploring the fragility of our local marine park, wildlife and the environment,
'Our Place' will be open on weekdays from Monday, June 3 to Friday, June 7 and then from Monday, June 10 to Wednesday, June 13 at the Jervis Bay Marine Park Office, 4 Woollamia Road Huskisson.
'Vinnie Views' is an exciting collection of artworks exploring the theme of 'haven' through the eyes of youth at Ethik, 70 Owen Street Huskisson.
The Vincentia High students are also taking part in an environmental sculpture competition at Yerunda Road, Tomerong.
Vincentia High's Dhawarri Dancers are taking part in what should be a special way to help open the festival.
The Dhawarri Dancers will wow the audience at the 'SeeLight.SeeFire.SeeChange' event in White Sands Park on Saturday June 1 from 4.30pm.
Volunteer festival director, Doctor Natalie McDonagh, said the performance from the dancers will be a festival highlight.
"They [the dancers] do magnificent work," the festival director said.
The dancers will perform a traditional dance but they have also been working on another piece.
"They are also going to be working with some contemporary performance artists who are illuminated and so as dusk drops there will be some very exciting things to see," she said.
They will perform on an outside stage and there will be undercover seating.
Meanwhile, the Vincentia High's Year 10 music class has four girls performing at SeeFood@SeeChange on Saturday, June 1 at various Huskisson venus.
There will also be a 'Meet The Chef' event at Club Jervis Bay, Monday 3 June.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the students to gain real-life industry experience and make connections with possible future employers.
