Bunnings will service the Nowra community while a new bigger and better $27.8 million warehouse is under construction, through a temporary store at 190-198 Princes Highway, at South Nowra.
That new store, in the former unopened Masters' store, is now up and running.
The family fun will begin on Saturday, May 25 at 10am, with a meet and greet with characters from the wildly popular children's show Paw Patrol as well as a DIY workshop with Better Homes and Gardens star Jason Hodges.
There will also be plenty of other family-friendly activities and treats such as clown and juggling shows, a jumping castle, spin n win game, laughing clown game and an inflatable basketball game.
The celebrations will continue over the following weekend, with a cooking demonstration from Fast Ed on Saturday, June 1 and another meet and greet with Paw Patrol characters, plus even more family entertainment throughout the weekend.
Complex manager, Richard Jenkins, said the team at Bunnings Warehouse Nowra was excited to welcome the local community to the temporary store to enjoy these celebratory weekends.
There will be a DIY workshop and cooking demonstrations with Better Homes and Gardens stars Jason Hodges and Fast Ed, meet and greet popular children characters, Chase and Skye from Paw Patrol, Michelangelo and Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Peppa Pig and a host of family entertainment.

- Bunnings' proposal will see the complex's footprint grow by almost two and a half times its current size. It is planned for the complex to take up the whole site, covering the current car park, with parking to be extended from the current 225 spaces to 428 spaces under the building. The proposal will see a new Bunnings warehouse (hardware and building supplies warehouse) including garden centre above an undercroft car parking level. It is estimated the project will result in 470 jobs during construction and 200 (full-time and part-time) jobs once the new building is completed. Construction of the new Bunnings Warehouse in Nowra is due to start mid-year with completion in late 2020.
