THE Shoalhaven Mainers will take part in the Illawarra Baseball League's (IBL) inaugural pink round this Mother's Day weekend - with all proceeds going to the Breast Aware Australia.

All seven clubs in the IBL, have decided to turn pink for this Saturday and Sunday to raise much needed funds for the Breast Aware Australia and importantly to profile how early and correct detection of breast cancer can save the lives of women and men.
Each club's top graded team will be wearing a commemorative pink round baseball caps, when they take to the diamond at Berkeley's Fred Finch Park - where founder of Breast Aware Australia Maralyn Young will also be holding a community information booth from 11am-2pm each day.
The Mariners major second grade team will play the Wollongong Cardinals from 11.45am on Saturday, while their minor third grade and minor second grade will play at 9.30am and 11.45am respectively on Sunday.
While Greenwell Point Public School teacher and current Australian player Tim Atherton and his Berkeley Eagles will battle Dapto Chiefs from 2pm Saturday.
