Unfortunately, Lyn Robinson's side, which defeated Wollongong Lions in their season opener before falling to Kiama in round two, couldn't mark the special occasion with a win.
Despite giving their all, the courageous Tigers went down 4.2-26 to 3.1-19 to Northern Districts.
In the loss, the goal kickers for the hosts were Riley Sutherland (two) and Ruby Sewell.
Joining these two in the squad are Madison Carr, Elly Simms, Lily Robinson, Marieke Carlile, Livia Barger, Aysha Sanchez, Kiah Shine, Amber Muffet and Taylah Clarke.
The Tigers return to the field for round four of the Illawarra competition this Sunday, when they host the Albion Park Crows at the Kangaroo Valley Showground from 10.30am.
