This year's Huskisson service and march would have to rate as one of the best ever.
People lined the streets to cheer on the veterans and many Australian flags were waving proudly.
The veterans, as they marched past, were quick to wave back to their supporters.
A sense of community is one of the key features of the Huskisson event.
Community groups like the Girl Guides and the Red Cross were joined by hundreds of high and primary school students.
The crowd then gathered at the new memorial at Voyager Park for a ceremony and people were in fine voice for the singing of the Australian and New Zealand national anthems.
Elsewhere, the Dawn Services at HMAS Creswell and Greenwell Point were well supported.
