In less than a day, an election promise has become a guarantee, with both sides of politics pledging to fund a veterans' wellbeing centre in Nowra.

On Wednesday afternoon the Labor Party replied to the Coalition's election pledge made on Wednesday morning.
The centre will cost the next federal government $5 million.
"As a local I understand the significant contribution veterans make to our community," Labor's Gilmore candidate Fiona Phillips said.
"Of course Labor will support any measures which provide tangible outcomes to our veterans and Labor will be matching this $5 million commitment.
"I'm delighted the Liberals and Nationals have come to the table on this important issue.
"The support of our veterans should always be bipartisan.
"I'm committed to fighting for a fair go for our local veterans all year round, not just at election time."
