Despite hosting their first ever FFA Cup match at Ian McLennan Park, Jadon Lavington's Breakers went down 9-nil to National Premier League side Sutherland Sharks FC.
"Sutherland took the game away from us within the first 20 minutes with sharp passing and clinical finishing," Breakers skipper Andy Lockard said.
"To our credit, the players never gave in and we played our way into a respectable performance.
"Despite the result, all the boys are holding their heads high and have taken a lot from yet another successful showing in the FFA Cup - we will be back again next year."
While the South Coast Flame, featuring Shoalhaven Heads-Berry's Matt White and Huskisson-Vincentia's Alex Boardman, went down to Western Condors FC 3-2 at Chopin Park.
