Bundanon Homestead will host an event on Sunday where they want your rubbish. It might sound odd, but it's all with the goal of a waste audit.
With no bins at the event, everyone will contribute their waste from the day and see just how much is generated in a couple of hours at Field Day from 10.30am until 4pm on April 28.
There will also be plenty more happening at the day of environmental exploration, foraging, walks, workshops and performance.
Activities will include bush tucker and weed foraging with Diego Bonetto, aka The Weedy One. Participants will be taken on a journey through the Bundanon bush and learn how to forage for wild food and medicine.
Monica Mudge will lead Tidal Yoga, a marine waste education session through yoga, games and stories.
The Subterranean Waste Blues will be a session led by Richard Montgomery on Winning Big But Losing Small. It will look at the question of how we can achieve some great larger scale environmental outcomes but struggle to achieve the small stuff.

The Bundanon Trust Education team will run workshops on creating beeswax wraps, Boomerang Bag screen printing, weaving using recycled materials and kitchen scrap kimchi. Liza from Forage - Jervis Bay will also have a range of fermented products to purchase and eat at home.
There will also be talks and activities around the homestead and Arthur Boyd studio. Volunteers will be stationed in these areas to answer any questions.
The Dump Zone Performance will be held in the ampitheatre by the Eaton Gorge Theatre Company.
A lunch time forum led by students from Kiama High will tell the story of how the War on Waste transformed their school's waste management system. They will then open up the floor for a conversation about how hard it can be and the challenges everyone faces in winning the war on waste.
Catering will be available at Field Day from 10.30am until 3.30pm, including a vegetarian pop up cafe and coffee stand.
Bundanon is plastic bottle free, so bring a refillable vessel.
