With the cold weather creeping in we definitely need some entertainment to brighten our days. A trip to the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre will cheer you up.
May 3, 8pm: After selling out their 2017 show, soprano and tenor powerhouse legends of musical theatre and opera, Marina Prior and David Hobson announce their 2019 encore show. Such is their vast careers and repertoire, there'll be new songs and stories, so best you come along. Tickets $34.90-69.90.
May 4, 7pm: Total Havoc 8 promises a fight card jam-packed with local talent, from highly experienced pro fighters, experienced amateurs, to those seeking the ultimate combat experience in front of a home crowd. Tickets $65-85.
May 7, 1pm and May 8, 10.30am and 12.30pm: A brand-new stage adaptation of a magical Australian classic. For more than 30 years, Mem Fox's Possum Magic has captivated and enchanted young people all over Australia. Grandma Poss loves making magic. She makes wombats blue and kookaburras pink. She makes dingoes smile and emus shrink. But one day, when danger arrives in the form of a snake, Grandma uses her most magical spell to make Hush invisible. Hush has many wonderful adventures. But being invisible isn't all it's cracked up to be, and Hush longs to see herself again.
May 8, 8pm: Stephen K Amos - The Story So Far sees the comedy superstar return to Australia with a show celebrating the best of the last 10 years. An evening of brilliant favourites, classics and new material. Stephen has been touring the world and in 2019 brings his uplifting, sometimes cynical, always witty and feel good comedy back to Australia. This could be the swan song, a farewell and you won't want to miss this strictly limited Australian season. Tickets $44-49.
May 11, 8pm: Sweet Home Chicago, Australia's own premier Blues Brothers show keeps audiences up on their feet and yelling for more. Get ready to sing and dance to iconic songs from the award-winning movie, including the smash hits, Everybody Needs Somebody and Shake a Tail Feather. Tickets $35-55.

May 15, 11am: Once again one of Australia's finest tenors Roy Best will be at the helm performing many of the classic hits from the likes of Pavarotti, Bocelli, Lanza, Domingo, not to mention Enrico Caruso and Jose Carreras. May 18, 8pm: Multi award-winning performer, Darren Coggan, returns to his country roots in Like A Rhinestone Cowboy, delivering the vocal authenticity and guitar prowess of the great Glen Campbell. May 21, 7pm: Jump First, Ask Later is a high-octane multi award-winning urban portrait of the streets of Western Sydney. Featuring members of the Dauntless Movement Crew and directed by Byron Perry, this multi-award-winning show tells the stories of six young champions of Fairfield's underground parkour and street style community. Tickets $32.50-112.50.
May 25, 6.30pm: Stars of Nowra is a night of fun and entertainment, with well-known community members, the Stars each paired with local dance teachers to perform a dance routine all in the name of entertainment and a good cause. Tickets $80-750.
