Ran by the Nowra-Culburra SLSC, this event will see competitors start at Tilbury Cove before swimming 1.9km around Penguin Head and finishing at Warrain Beach in front of the surf club.

Cost per competitor, for the race that starts at 10am Saturday, is $30 (online), with all proceeds going to the Nowra-Culburra SLSC and their nippers program, which contains more than 150 athletes.

Registrations for the event can be done online (oceanswims.com/swims/calendar/) or at 9.15am on the day.

Swimmers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete their registration form, while there are certain restrictions on athletes aged 13-15.
