The Eagles, boasting a new-look side in 2019, struggled in attack against an organised Superoos defence, with the only player who really looked like worrying the home side being veteran former Dragons and Bulldogs fullback Luke Patten - who is returning to the playing field after six years as a NRL referees official.
The opening stages of the game were typically physical and it wasn't until the 17th minute that Jamberoo were able to get the crucial first points when centre Jake Clarke pushed off his opposite number and gave big winger Steve Bouchard room to move and he burst through two defenders to race over.
Dean Watling made no mistake with the conversion for the Superoos to lead 6-nil.
The remainder of the half was an arm-wrestle as the home team successfully repelled the visitors who struggled to mount any worthwhile attack.
The second half was also tight, with several handling errors and penalties stymieing both sides before the Superoos took a stranglehold on the match when, after some sustained attack, replacement hooker James Asquith picked up his twin brother Mark close to the line and he powered his way over close to the posts.
Watling landed his second goal and shortly afterwards landed a penalty for Jamberoo to take a 14-nil lead.
The match was wrapped up in the closing moments when hooker Brock Skelly put a kick deep into the corner and a great chase and tackle by Watling shook the ball loose and Skelly was on hand to grab the loose ball and stroll over for the try.
Watling added his fourth goal to wrap up a thoroughly deserved and convincing 20-nil win.
In a superb team effort, Simon Maslanka, the trio of Asquiths, Luke, Mark and James, Matt Webster and Watling were outstanding, while Patten was far-and-away the Eagles best, while Jayden Harris, Jarryd King, Blake Jones and Brent Wake all tries hard to lift the Eagles.
Both teams face block-buster clashes after next weekend's Easter break, with the Superoos hosting Gerringong Lions, while the Eagles will travel to Ron Costello Oval to face the red-hot Sharks.
