The competition will feature a nine-a-side games, with modified games, to be played each Sunday.
To prepare for the first bounce of this competition, AFL South Coast is holding two 'come and try' days this Sunday, April 14 from 11.10am - at Vincentia's Bomber Oval and Batemans Bay's Hanging Rock Oval.
"It's really exciting to see the growth of female football in the AFL South Coast expanding to the Shoalhaven juniors," AFL South Coast female ambassador Nicci Kennedy said.
"The under 13s girls competition will provide a platform for young girls of the Shoalhaven to play female football, which is a first for the area.
"We are hoping to extend this to create a complete female football pathway from Auskick to senior football in the future.
"All of the AFL Shoalhaven clubs are trying to enter a team, which is amazing and will make for a great competition.
