A Sussex Inlet man found with an air pistol, a Taser, drugs and driving with drugs in his system has been placed on an intensive corrections order and fined $2000.

Benjamin Boyle, 38, pleaded guilty to a number of charges including possessing an unauthorised pistol, possessing ammunition without a licence, possessing a prohibited weapon, possessing a prohibited drug and driving with an illicit drug in his system.
The court heard Boyle had been stopped by police on a number of occasions in the Sussex Inlet area between July 2017 and April last year, and was found with items he was unauthorised to have, including an air pistol and a Taser.
He was also found in possession of a number of different drugs including methylamphetamine or ice and cannabis.
In Milton Local Court Magistrate Gabriel Fleming placed him on a 12-month intensive corrections order, meaning he can serve his sentence within the community.
She also fined him $2000.
