The event was held by the Australian Football League's South Coast development team and it proved to be a successful event.
Winning was not the aim of the event and the students really adapted well to what for many was a new footy format.
The students, from various primary schools from around the region, just loved getting out, running around and having fun with their friends.
It was also a good way for the children to meet kids from the other schools.
The players, on the field, also showed they were great football players and the development team would be hoping they sign up for one of the local clubs.
In the end it was a healthy and fun thing for the students to do.
