Bundanon Homestead will host a day of environmental exploration, foraging, walks, workshops, performance and a waste audit at Field Day on Sunday, April 28 from 10.30am until 4pm. Activities will include bush tucker and weed foraging with Diego Bonetto, aka The Weedy One. Monica Mudge will lead Tidal Yoga, a marine waste education session through yoga, games and stories. The Subterranean Waste Blues will be a session led by Richard Montgomery on Winning Big But Losing Small.

The Bundanon Trust Education team will be running workshops on creating beeswax wraps, Boomerang Bag screen printing, weaving using recycled materials and kitchen scrap kimchi. There will also be talks and activities around the homestead and Arthur Boyd studio. Volunteers will be stationed in these areas to answer any questions. The Dump Zone Performance will be held in the ampitheatre by the Eaton Gorge Theatre Company. A lunch time forum led by students from Kiama High will tell the story of how the War on Waste transformed their school's waste management system.
There will be no bins available at the event, however participants will be asked to contribute their waste from Field Day into a waste audit to see just how much rubbish is generated in a couple of hours Visit bundanon.com.au for details.
